About Me

Once upon a time a little ballerina in NY grew up to be a dance teacher, choreographer, and community theater actress, and finally a college instructor. Her versatility and willingness to take risks led her to where she is today.
 
As a military spouse for 24 years, life has been an adventure - traveling to 48 states and many countries, and living in five different regions of the U.S. My diverse experiences taught me to “fake it ‘til you make it” when confronted by a new language, a new experience… or a new script!
 
My Master’s in Education led to teaching at the college level. I believe my ability to connect with my students is an asset as a voice actor as we connect with any script.
 
In Hawaii for our third Navy tour, I landed a few roles as an extra for the television series, Hawaii Five-O. It sparked my love of acting again!
 
I teach online college courses on Critical Reading and Thinking: analyzing what we read for truth- skills that make a great voice actor! I specialize in E-learning and have published a textbook called “Critical Reading and Thinking." As a life-long educator, I have a strong comprehension of difficult reading materials, stellar communication skills, the ability to follow direction, clear diction, and a flexible schedule to meet my client’s needs.
 
I'm a mom of four young adults, a new grandma, a wife to my high school sweetheart of over three decades, a fur baby Mama to my two giant, slobbery Dogue de Bordeauxs (who also love performing @theofficialmalc&maui) and our two sweet cats. I'm a fitness lover who shares tips for college students on strengthening the mind, body and soul (@theofficialfitprofessor). Whether it’s pumping iron, boxing, tap dancing, or hiking, I thrive on the excitement of a challenge.
 
My voice has been described as having three facets: eloquent, nurturing and authoritative. 
 
I bring the welcoming, sweet “Aloha spirit” of the Pacific with the confidence of the East coast. “The elegant luxury of a pearl and the casual comfort of a day at the beach.”
